I remember my dad bought this live album (GITAZAN) when it was first released. It’s always been my very favorite of yours. Will it ever be released on CD? If so, I will buy it! By the way, your recording of “Misty” got me laughed at when I first got into the U.S. Air Force Band. We were doing an off duty gig, and the leader called out “Misty”. 1) They didn’t have a chart for the song, 2) I didn’t know how to read music, and 3) Your version was the only one I had ever heard. Well, I figured I’d show how versatile I was on the guitar, so I slapped a capo on the 7th fret and kicked off the intro with the banjo lick in the key of D, but played in the G position. All of the guys in this 5 piece protocol group looked at me like I was crazy, so I stopped playing. Then they started playing the Johnny Mathis version in the key of Eb. Hope you got a kick out of one of my funniest musical stories.
